Ghazal is a PhD student funded by EIT Digital/GoalShaper sponsorship (to start in Jan 2021) at University of Surrey. She completed her MSc in Bioinformatics and theoretical Systems Biology at Imperial College London. She also holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Socio-Economic Systems Engineering. In her PhD she will develop a new machine learning algorithm that uses a combination of meta-interpretive learning (MIL) and natural language processing (NLP) for automated text classification in GoalShaper. Ghazal will be working with Alireza and PDRA and will be contributing to the development of Meta-Goal-Eco Learner.
